Welcome to 'THE YOUNG KILLIE' website

Welcome to the website of THE YOUNG KILLIE, Kilmarnock Football Club's Junior Supporters Club. We hope that you'll enjoy browsing through the various sections of our site and that it gives you a flavour of what it's like to be a member of the best Junior Supporter's Club in Scotland.

What are we all about? 'TRAINING, SCORING, PLAYING, ROARING!'

YOUNG KILLIE - GEARING UP FOR SEASON 2012/13

It hardly seems like any time at all since we were launching our new kit for the current season, full of hope and expectation for a terrific year both on and off the park.........AND WHAT A FANTASTICALLY MEMORABLE SEASON WE HAD!

Our Saturday Morning Club has broken all previous records on the weekly attendance front and it's always great to see over 200 kids kitted out in the YOUNG KILLIE gear on a Saturday, come hail or shine, with great big smiles on their faces, enjoying the coaching sessions. Thanks to all our regular attenders.

Our Christmas parties at the Odeon Cinema and Park Suite were sell outs again and who can ever forget that tasty slice of AMERICAN PIE at the end of one of the best Annual Fundrasing Dinner/Dances ever. ABSOLUTELY LEGENDARY!

Our 'Away Buses' were fu' to the gunnels on our travels throughout the length and breadth of the country, giving great vocal support to the FAMOUS AYRSHIRE KILLIE who gave us some memorable victories and cracking goals.

Looking ahead to next season, we are holding 'JOINING UP DAYS' at the Powerleague (behind ASDA in Kilmarnock) on SATURDAY 9th JUNE and SATURDAY 16th JUNE.  You will be able to download the new application form shortly so fill it in and bring it down then!  Our new kit design will be available in August and you won't be diasappointed and the membership will remain the same at only £20. Look out too for the possibility of a return trip to Amsterdam to see an AJAX game.

WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO MISS OUT ON ALL THE FUN AND GAMES IN WHAT'LL BE OUR 15th ANNIVERSARY SEASON?

A CUP FINAL TEAM TO BE PROUD OF!

Well done to all the players and staff of SUPER AYRSHIRE KILLIE for giving us all a day to remember at Hampden Park on Sunday 18th March. Days like this are the reason we all support the only team in A*rshire!

Six YOUNG KILLIE buses were absolutely packed out as we made the short journey to Glasgow to cheer on our team.

YOUNG KILLIE PLAYER OF THE YEAR

Thanks to everyone who took the time to vote in our annual PLAYER OF THE YEAR poll. As usual it was a very tight contest with every one of our League Cup winning squad receiving substantial votes (...even some people voted for the team as a whole to win the award!)

After a countback, CAMMY BELL came out the deserved winner. Cammy has been extremely consitent throughout the season but few will ever forget his 'man-of-the-match' performance against the triple chasing Celtic in that fabulous day in the sun at Hampdfen Park, Glasgow on the 18th March. WELL DONE CAMMY!

Cammy was presented with his award at the '1997 Club' within the Park Hotel, after the game against Aberdeen on 5th May.

 GET WELL MAN-U-EL!!

Everyone at the YOUNG KILLIE would like to wish our inspirational Captain, Manuel Pascali, well as he recovers from a leg break. We'll miss your presence on the pitch at Hampden but we're sure you'll drum your 'never-say-die' spirit into the rest of the squad for our big day in March as we try and win our first League Cup. Sixth time lucky we hope.

GET WELL SOON BIG MAN!!

It is great to see so many members supporting the Saturday Morning Club every week.    TWO HUNDRED AND THIRTY FIVE YOUNG KILLIE members turned out when we returned in Mid-January and these numbers have continued.

Keep following the AYRSHIRE KILLIE and support the BEST junior supporter's Club in the country!

NOTE TO PARENTS......

The YOUNG KILLIE Committee would like to stress the importance of your child’s safety in and around the PowerLeague area.

PLEASE NOTE

-         Children will NOT be allowed to leave their respective pitches until a parent/guardian has been identified and comes to

           uplift them.

-         If you are happy for your child to be allowed to leave the pitches unsupervised, please leave written consent with Young

          Killie staff.

-         Do NOT allow your child to run from you into the busy and congested car park as this area is an obvious hazard.

-         Please ensure your child is suitable dressed for the prevailing weather conditions.

Extra kit (base layers, rain jackets, hats, hooded sweatshirts etc) are available to order should you wish too.

Thanks for your co-operation.
